With over 22,000 stores nationwide, Subway Restaurants and their franchisees faced growing competition in the QSR marketplace. They needed marketing support and ideas to help build their brand and their business in several key markets around the country, including New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and Dallas. Source brought its full-service capabilities to the table and worked with Subway Restaurants for over 17 years, growing within the Subway system to 26 markets nationwide. Responsible for marketing, advertising, media, promotional support, and sports marketing for more than 5,500 storefronts, Source was tapped for everything from in-store POS to media execution and the negotiation and activation of sports marketing partnerships in key markets. Source also ideated and led some of Subway’s original athlete marketing initiatives, developing relationships and executing creative programs with stars like Joe Torre, Chris Carter, Reggie Bush, Johan Santana, CC Sabathia, Justin Tuck, Ryan Howard and John Cena. We helped Subway grow their markets, cultivate new customers and retain loyal brand fans one footlong at a time.
